Every Life Is a Story
by Barbara Sharnik At age ninety-one, I have lived several lives: child, teen, job holder, wife, mother, and grandmother. They are all here in my stories, which include two characters who live interesting lives. They find themselves only by coping with crises. You will keep finding yourself in their stories. See if you, the reader, recognize yourself. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Barbara Sharnik was born in Friend, Nebraska, but has lived for 60-odd years in Connecticut. Nevertheless, she still feels like a Midwesterner. Previously published in various magazines, she used the free time she has in an assisted-living community to write Every Life Is a Story. (2008, paperback, 148 pages)
