The author provides the reader with real-life examples, step by step guides, and answers to many questions that may come up in the day to day workings of a real estate developer. He also explores the elements of learning how to pursue the acquisition of properties that are not available or not yet for sale through his own successful process.

About the Author

Ted Ihde graduated from Bloomfield College Summa Cum Laude as an Academic All-American. At Bloomfield College, Ted played goalie for the men's soccer team. Ted's unique market skillsets stem from his experience in both banking and real estate. He founded a New Jersey-based mortgage company in 2000, where he served as president and licensee through the year 2007. His firm also held lending licenses in NY, KS, VA, NC, and PA.

Moving on from his career in sales, Ted worked as a consultant for National Bank of Kansas City in Overland Park, KS, then as a Research Analyst for the CEO of NACA in Boston. As a real estate developer, Ted has secured new home-build city approvals - with 10-year tax abatements - for a real estate project that he is currently overseeing along with his partners.

    With Ted‘s experience in the real estate industry, this book is a must read. Ted owned a very successful mortgage company for six years and then transferred that knowledge into a successful real estate career. His knowledge and experience in the real estate field has helped him navigate home sellers thru some of the toughest challenges facing the industry today. I would highly recommend Ted and his team if you have any questions or desire any assistance selling your home.

    Top producers implement proven systems and consistently utilize those systems. I describe Ted as being tenacious regarding his time blocking reserved for prospecting activities. Those activities have allowed him to sharpen his skills to a keen edge, which makes him a master at listing off market properties.

    Not being from the field of real estate, I still found this book extremely interesting and informative. For anyone in the field, it would be a useful tool for navigating the intricacies of real estate development. The author simplifies the complexities by writing in a clear, orderly and concise manner. I found the information about redeveloping the unused urban areas most interesting.

Ihde skillfully guides the reader through the processes and proposals which could be used in real estate. It’s as if Ihde has given you the answers prior to a test ensuring you score 100%. Highly recommend!!!
