This book began as a short little paper for my family, specifically focused on my children and grandchildren and the generations yet to come.  I examined my life and how it has evolved over my seventy-plus years, and our culture in the past and now.  As I began writing to them, an idea of concern would arise, then another and then another until the end result is what you are now viewing.  It is about the impact one individual has on another, especially within the family circle and the future of that circle, but which can easily expand outside that circle to impact friends, social circles and potentially a much larger environment.  To be clear, it does have a spiritual focus as well, but that too focuses initially on the family and then expands well beyond that close circle. It addresses from the beginning of time to the end of time as we know it - - and beyond and there is a beyond.  The most important aspect of this book is YOU – are you and your family prepared for the – BEYOND?

About the Author

Mr. Dawson was born and raised in a small town in northwest Arkansas where he spent thirteen of the first eighteen years of his life.  He completed college at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas in 1970 at which time the United States Government decided it was time for him to commit some time to them through the Selective Service System – the Draft.  What started out as a short-term tenure in the United States Navy was completed twenty-five years later.  The draft was one of the best things that happened to him as it set the stage for the rest of his life. Many of the best people he ever had the privilege to know and work with in his life were in the Navy.  Following his active-duty commitments, he went to work for a high-tech company providing support primarily to the Department of Defense.  He married his high school sweetheart his second year of college and she has been with him and supported him for almost sixty years, and together they have been blessed with two children and their families. The strength that carried him through his seventy-plus years is faith and family.  They are everything.  He learned from his parents as a child what was right and wrong, as any child should.  He learned from his dad how to create something out of what appear to be pieces of nothing. He learned from his mother the softness that needs to be in an individual to help others in need, especially family, as well as one’s own self. He learned from his sister the strength that can come from a true faith and to watch out for her left fist.
