About the Author

Kris Hoover was born in a small town west of Chicago. After marrying her high school sweetheart and having two children, she began showing dogs. After her divorce, she needed a new start and moved to California to work for dog handlers, eventually ending up in Oregon where she met the love of her life. Hoover has also worked as a courier for twenty-three years.

In her spare time, you can find her writing, inspired by the many journeys she has taken throughout her life.
