About the Author

A native of Michigan and a graduate of Saginaw High School, Dr. Marie Wright-Tolliver holds an associate of arts degree from Delta College, a bachelor of science degree from Central Michigan University, and an honorary doctorate from Urban Bible College in Detroit. The author is an active member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church and Zeta Phi Beta sorority and currently serves as the national first vice president of the National Association of Colored Womens Clubs, Inc. Dr. Tolliver also enjoys reading, traveling, and gardening. This is her first published book.
