Such a sweet story

I couldn't help but smile while reading this book. While I hate thinking about how things were at the time this book takes place, the unlikely friendship between Uly and Richie was just so sweet. It's a reminder that even though hard things are happening in history, that doesn't mean there aren't also beautiful things happening.
