When a lost caterpillar wakes up all alone in a dark, unfamiliar place, he becomes very frightened. The lost caterpillar gathers his courage and sets out on a journey to find a way out of the dark. When he sees a beautiful, purple butterfly, the lost caterpillar finds his strength and realizes he was never truly lost.
