About the Author

David Bricker, “The Famous Trainhopper”, has lived a troubled but adventurous life, traveling widely across the United States in search of love, happiness, and peace of mind. As a teenager he developed a love for Star Trek and even met James Doohan, who played Scotty, at a convention in 1977.
Over the years, David worked various jobs and spent much of his life on the road, passing through cities like Nashville, New Orleans, Kansas City, Gainesville, and Dallas. Music has also been a lifelong passion, and he has seen bands such as The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, The Go-Go's, and Three Dog Night perform live.

Despite personal struggles, including legal troubles and time in the mental health system, David has continued reflecting on the experiences that shaped his life. The Life and Times of David is his biography, sharing the adventures, hardships, and memories of a life lived far outside the ordinary.
