Enter a world of medieval fictional drama with The Families, the captivating first installment in The Seven Kingdoms series. Set in a different part of the universe, this book serves as the prologue, introducing the seven ruling families on the continents of Alvainia and Bentora. These families are driven by different ambitions—some are obsessed with conquest, others with establishing trade, and some are determined to settle old grudges.
Book One lays the groundwork, establishing the history that propels the entire series. The conflict begins with the end of a war in Rapton, ignited by Terrador’s quest for world conquest. Amidst the devastation, Terradorian soldier Lieutenant Norman Wentworth escapes the slaughter and finds himself in Longston, where he must spark a revolution.
The Families is a complex tapestry of multiple characters, themes, and conflicts, drawing readers into a rich, unpredictable world where alliances are fragile and betrayal is a constant threat.
