About the Author
Michele Martens was born in a small town as the youngest to three girls. She works as a special education teacher, having worked in the same district for ten years.
In her elementary and high school years, she has won awards and honorable mentions for her writing. When not writing, you can find her practicing martial arts and studying the Revolutionary War and the Salem witch trials.
