The Breath of a Camel explores the question, to what end would any person or any group of people go to get revenge? Based on his own personal experiences after witnessing the city of New York as it was stricken with the tragedy of 9/11, Norman Hocker creates an eerily realistic visitation of those events. Readers can expect to find themselves constantly posed with moral dilemmas.

The story is told by a (67) year old man who lived by a very pretty lake right in the middle of Texas. For years he walked by this lake as the leaves crackled under his feet and the woods consumed him, but she still wasn’t there.
One day like magic he received a note from her explaining where she would meet him by the lake the very next day. He was consumed by this information and by now the very next day he met Sara at the point. (A piece of land that jets out where the lake is visible on three sides).
For months they were everything to each other. From her short raven black hair that she combed into a duck’s ass straight out of the 50’s and her very soft lips.
Living in this perfect cocoon with the lake and the fireplace that roared every night in the wintertime.
But Sara was missing something that Norman Michael could not give her and in Perry, Oklahoma Sara gave up her secret. All was not lost. Before Sara leaves she would treat Norman Michael to a woman he would love for a lifetime.
