Set in the early '70s and flashing forward to 1980, The Boathouse is the story of Carson Stamps. Fifteen-year-old Carson has a plan for his life that doesn't include working at the Knox resort his grandparents own on the shores of Lake Puckaway in Sholton, Wisconsin. That summer, everything changes as he begins to get to know his best friend's sister, Andi, better. A coming-of-age romance blossoms as the couple navigates hostile buyout attempts on the resort property. The mystery deepens with murders on the property and Carson discovers his own life is at risk.
