About the Authors

Pamela Masterman is the mother of three adult children and grandmother of three. She is an independent businesswoman in the area of financial management who has spent much of her free time volunteering for causes dear to her heart. 

Patricia Foss-Bennie recently retired from a career in association management and consults as brand manager for the Maryland Forestry Foundation. Her career included event management and serving as editor-in-chief for the magazine of the Maryland Municipal League.

The Foss family cherishes their close relationships with one another. They hope by sharing their experiences while reluctantly learning to travel the road of dementia, others may benefit. Even though they know that each family's journey will be unique, they hope sharing the nurture, love, advice, and understanding gained on their path can make another's journey easier.
