There she spent 30 years working for New Jersey Bell through the transition to Bell Atlantic as a technician and Verizon as a project manager. She has three biological children: Tara, Jessica, and David; and several self-adopted additions. She enjoys cooking and decorating. Thelma was inspired to publish Soul Articulation: A Poetry Collection from the belief that creative works should be shared among all the children of God.
