After dinner, my granddaughters know it is time to read a book or read some nursery rhymes. As they’re finishing up their last bite, they are already screaming out “Read Snooky, Safta, read us Snooky” and so they all sit down, and I begin to read their favorite book!
So funny to see them react to the point in the story when Snooky is in front of the classroom and has the courage to be himself… and they already know the moral of the story- and we all stand up and we begin to dance with Snooky!!! Great, fun book filled with humor and life lessons!!!!

It’s a highly recommended book because it reinforces in children the value of being true to themselves and having the courage to face the changes that life imposes.

I read it to my 3.5 year old granddaughter (who is already a bookworm!) and she loved it! The story is easy to follow and the illustrations are bright and colorful. The message is simple and to the point as well. Congrats to Yenisey Cabrera on a job well done!

This book is the cutest. I have a 6-year-old girl, and two boys, 7 and 9 years old, and we all LOVED it. The pictures are well drawn and pretty, and the language is simple for kids to understand. The book is a match for that kid who started attending a new school and is beginning to make new friends. I loved how Snooky finds a simple way to overcome his fears. I recommend this book to anyone with young kids who is looking for a good book to read with a positive message.

Absolutely loved Snooky’s attitude for life. This book addresses the real scenario of first day jitters for kids and a very good message of how to deal with the emotions. This is a great example of teaching emotional intelligence. Can wait for more books in this series.
