Sea-Wafted Women
Sea-Wafted Women revolves around a venerable family of traders in Riyadh/Saudi Arabia and is set during the oil boom there between 1955 and 1990.
Al-Khamis’ novel follows three women who came from the Levant to the heart of the Arabian Peninsula as wives and teachers and formed a special bond, as they struggled to find their place in the more restrictive culture and conservative society.
