Safety For Seniors
When you''re young and healthy, you don't always recognize the ways in which basic needs and abilities can change with age. Seemingly simple tasks like getting in and out of a bathtub or handling a cup of hot coffee can become difficult or even risky as we get older. If you're caring for an elderly loved on and want to approach your care-giving role without impinging on his or her independence and dignity, Safety for Seniors eliminates the guesswork. Denise I. Falardeau provides a clear-cut and succinct overview of the many details that need to be addressed in terms of household organization, health care, nutrition, and safety. Moving from room to room throughout the house, she offers tips on furniture arrangement, lighting, mobility issues, and so much more. Written from a Christian perspective and emphasizing Christ's presence, guidance, and comfort, Safety for Seniors is an information-filled source of help for those who need it.
