Read Before Suicide
Suicide took many lives from many countries worldwide. Many opined that hopelessness seems to be the leading factor in many suicide cases. Clearly, it is the easiest way out of a difficult situation, but people who took their lives may have missed opportunities of seeing better days.
Suiza Karol retells the story of Harun, a Turkish man who lost all his wealth in the 1994 economic crisis in Turkey. Impoverished when he went to his wifes country in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and unable to find a suitable job because of language barrier, he committed suicide. Fortunately, his wife saved his life. If Haruns suicide was not abated, he would have missed the good fortune awaiting them amidst their struggle to live a decent life. This true story of real people inspires positivity that all of us need in these times of economic difficulty, along with other challenges that faces modern society.
