About the Author
Originally from Maine, Elaine King-Franti currently resides in Michigan. She has three children: Michael, Michele, and Joanna. She earned her high school diploma and has completed clerical training school from the Womens Army Corps. Elaine has been a member of the National Rural Letter Carriers Association since 1992 and is a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, AMVETS American Legion, and HOG (Harley Owners Group). Her hobbies and interests include riding her Harley Sportster and spending time with her eight grandchildren and great-great granddaughter. Her inspiration to write this book came from encouragement from her family and desire to share her experiences and give hope to others.
