About the Author

Poems from My Father is a tribute to Edward J. McAuliffe, a man whose passion for the written word inspired the love of books and writing. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Edward McAuliffe now lives with his wife, Dolly, in Wisconsin. As a corporal in the United States Marine Corps, McAuliffe served in China as a part of the U.S. Embassy Guard in Peking and in the Pacific and South Pacific with the First Marine Division. Now an avid reader and chess player, in his younger years, McAuliffe enjoyed gardening, woodworking, hunting, and fishing. Poems from My Father is his first published work.
