sharing some cultural understanding and awareness. My intention is to expand our boundaries, to relate some anecdotes, reveal some secrets, to have you join me in my travels. So begins Albert J. Mortizs Oblation: A Revelation of Cultural Awareness and Understanding and Adventures in European Travel, which does just that. Oblation shares two stories: that of Mortizs experiences as a Pilipino working and living in California as well as his travelogue of a cultural and arts pilgrimage through fifteen European countries. As such, Mortiz reveals the difficulties faced with the American workforce and contrasts this against the freedom offered by international travel. These eye-opening memoirs will enlighten and provoke fresh thought through other insights into human nature, the culture of the Philippines, and the treasures of foreign lands. Through Oblation, Mortiz illustrates the enrichment that awaits beyond your preconceived notions.
