The second story, Party House, shows a young family moving to a new city and buying a new home. As they settle in, neighbors begin to complain about the noise at nightthe loud partying and laughing, but the noise is heard while the family is fast asleep! Finally, Shadows Across the Sea reveals a ship that mysteriously docks at a marina with one mate aboard, passed out, and no captain! What happened to the ship? Where are the passengers? About the Author
Dr. Ruth G. King is an executive administrator in Washington, D.C. She holds a B.S. in Health and Physical Education from Trenton State, an M.A. in Educational Psychology from Temple University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Psychology also from Temple University. Ruth is widowed by husband, Donald King, and has two children, Mary King and Donna K. Ball. Ruth has belonged to many clubs including: Association of Black Psychologists, Health Brain Trust of Congress Black Caucus, the Minority Advisory Committee for ADAMHA, the NAACP Education Committee, and RAP, Inc. (drug prevention program). She currently belongs to PAGES Book Club and Sister Scribes & Associates. Ruth enjoys traveling, Tai Chi, writing poetry, and reading.
