My Twenty-Five Cents And A Token

By Marlon P. Williamson

My Twenty-five Cents and a Token coins the phrase "two cents worth." Marlon Williamson alludes to including more than his worthand that he does. His poetry is sprinkled with hope, promise and love; yet he writes of deep conceptsmemories, destiny and judgement day. Not all of Mr. Williamsons poetry is heavy, however. Many poems are lighthearted. "Childhood Memories" reads like a stream of consciousness: "Do you remember Grandmas cooking, birthday parties, summer camp, and beach outings? Playing, boys and girls getting on each others nerves!"
