Love's Final Destination
After the sudden death of her first love from high school, Susy Wynne Thiele began this book as an outlet for her immense feelings of grief. What emerged is an honest and self-aware account of her journey toward learning to find solace within oneself and discovering the secret place where love truly dwells in ones heart. Growing up with cerebral palsy, Susy had more to deal with than the average high school student, but her storytelling reveals a sense of humor, which quickly grabs the reader, and a strength that is inspiring.
Like many girls, Susys first love turned her world upside-down. But as her story explores the different degrees and stages of love and its final destination, it also shows that by examining a relationship with another, one may come to a deeper sense of self.
