Life Of A Bluenose

By Robert Gary Haller
Regular price $8.00

Life of a Bluenose opens on a cold February day in 1974 as sixteen-year-old Robert Haller arrives in Piney Point, Maryland, to commence his United States Merchant Marines career. What follows is a vividly descriptive account of the dedication and determination that characterized the men and women who served during the Cold War. The Haller family is rife with men who have served their country, and in this autobiographical work, Haller proudly recognizes the contributions of those who sacrificed during various times of American History. The Cold War, however, is too often overlooked, and the dangerous and vital work done by those who enlisted at this time has gone widely unrecognized. This insightful glimpse of the authors personal experiences is designed to encourage readers to remember the sacrifices made in the fight against communism. The personal perspective and candor of Life of a Bluenose makes Robert Hallers work a memorable and meaningful contribution to the study of American military history.

Life of a Bluenose

This is one of the best autobiographies I've ever read in my entire life and it's fantasticos in the depths of the Cold War it's very clinging to your seat they should make us movie this book into a movie it's a fantastic read I give it five stars it is the best thing since I think the book The Hunt for Red October because this is actually real the other one was fictional but not comparing one to the other but I prefer this one because it's more realistic it's an autobiography that actually places you on board the ship at the height of the Cold War during the 80s and it just really it's a fantastic read it's really really great keychain edgers they should make this into a movie it's fantastic thank you very much may 2019 Robert Hal out you aren't family
