About the Authors
For years, Janet Garrett, M.S., LMT, and Dr. John Garrett, LMT have assisted individuals in their search for their life's mission. Both authors are professional teachers, counselors, trainers, and sports massage therapists.
A native of Holden, Utah, Janet received a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and a master's degree from Nova University. She also competed in four twenty-six mile, three hundred-eighty-five yard marathon races.
John hails from Glendale, California. He received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Brigham Young University and a doctorate degree from Nova University. He lettered on the BYU track team and he also competed in the World Games in Helsinki, Finland.
The Garretts, who have been married for over thirty years, are the parents of six children, have served several LDS Church missions, and are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Both Janet and John are Life Mission Trainers and Licensed Massage Therapists.
