About the Author
Sandy Moody is a licensed clinical social worker. As a way of coping with her loss, she began to write letters to Jaimee when the grief became unbearable.

Moody attended the University of Utah at the age of fifty to obtain her master's degree in social work and has been a therapist since 2004 specializing in trauma and grief. She has facilitated bereavement groups for almost twenty years. Moody has been married to her husband Jesse for fifty-three years and they are the parents of six children and seven grandchildren. The Moodys currently live in American Fork, Utah.
