Born in Chicago, Illinois, Denny Burda currently lives in Denmark, Wisconsin. Frustrated with the lack of information on foster parenting from the foster parents point of view, she wrote this book in the hope that it would become a useful tool for those already involved in or interested in becoming a foster parent or regular parents looking for help. Her hobbies and special interests include gardening, making quilts, crocheting, and anything artsy and/or crafty.
