Sharon Melani lives with her husband of forty-five years and a black lab named Buck. She has two married children and five grandchildren, who call her “MiMi.”

Sharon has been writing stories and poems as a pastime since she was a teenager. Her father, who also wrote poetry, passed down his gift for writing to her. Sharon’s dream is to publish more of her Itty Bitty Mouse & Blue Bunny Stories. She also has other poetry, poems for children, love poems, etc., that she endeavors to publish either in book form or as art.

Melanie Grumski is her granddaughter who at the age of 5, inspired her to write "Silly Snow Days" which was their first published work.  Melanie helped with this story when she was 8 years old.  She will be turning 10 in May.
