About the Author
As a young boy growing up in China, Bob Yang would sneak from his home at night to listen to the beautiful classical music that his neighbor Professor Huang would play on her piano until midnight. Greatly intrigued by what his young ears were hearing, Dr. Yang learned to play violin, even playing in the city orchestra. In his twenties, he followed in his mother’s footsteps and went to medical college.
Dr. Yang has years of hands-on experience in bridging the gap between textbook knowledge, lab work, and diagnosing and treating patients. He attributes much of the success of his career to those formative years when the universal language of music awoke his young mind to the possibilities that lay beyond.
