...In Transition: A Penny Dreadful
Perhaps one of the most notorious families in history, the von Frankensteins are the elite of society. Relatively reclusive, the two remaining brothers are rarely seen in society, particularly the eldest brother, Victor.
Vincent, the younger brother, takes an obsessive interest in the siren song of Miss Evelyn Lovelace. Enraptured by her, he begins to court the infamous singer. He is thwarted by his awkward nature, but with the aid of his erudite brother, Victor, he is determined to win her heart.
With an invitation to a lavish gathering at the von Frankenstein estate, Evelyn is lured by the promise of a better life than the one she has ever known; one of glamor that she has sought her entire life. Yet, Evelyn and the von Frankenstein brothers may discover more than they ever imagined while making wishes come true, perhaps disastrously so.
…In Transition: A Penny Dreadful is a Frankenstein retelling
offering a lighthearted, yet terror-inducing, twist on the
original story.
