This mystery-suspense novel explores what happens when a man guided by the Golden Rule confronts another who lives by “might makes right.” Hour of Our Death is set in modern-day suburbs of Washington, DC, where everyday interactions escalate into consequences that are anything but ordinary. Through moments of tension, conflict, and reckoning, the novel examines what it truly means to “win” when survival, redemption, and human connection hang in the balance.
Drawing on a lifetime of experience across science, law, religion, and community life, Gene Molinelli brings a distinctive perspective to questions of power, ethics, and human behavior. This is a story shaped by both intellect and lived experience—one that challenges readers to reflect on the forces that define character and outcome.
