About the Author

Myron Jordan is the pastor of Greater Friendship Baptist Church and has dedicated his life to faith, education, and community service. He has served in numerous leadership roles, including Physical Education Instructor, Academic Dean, and Interim Vice President at the College of Alameda, as well as Recreation Director for the Salvation Army and Community Center Director for San Joaquin County.

A lifelong educator and coach, Jordan coached at multiple levels, including CYO and school programs, and was twice inducted into the Salesian High School Hall of Fame—once as an individual athlete and again as a member of a championship team. He holds a BA from the University of the Pacific and an MA from California State University, Sacramento. Married with eight children and fifteen grandchildren, Pastor Jordan enjoys studying the Bible, attending church, watching sports, and classic films.
