Friendship Is A Gift From God
Can you tell if the friendship you have is real? How can you tell a friend from a mere acquaintance? How about using this Bible verse as a test: A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24)
In her book Friendship Is a Gift from God, Catherine Katie Heller narrates the enduring sister-like relationship she had with Edith Eddy Craft. Katie, a sweet girl from Indiana, was brought to Alabama by her service in the Army. She met Eddy when she left the Army and started a friendship, which made them decide to buy a home they could share. In the midst of differences and sickness, both learned to feel each others worth but not without a couple of laughs.
See how they shared the joys and trials of their lives that spanned almost fifty years.
