This book encloses two works of short poems penned by poet Mitchel Brock. The poems follow a format that Brock designed himself when he was left with just one very small notebook in which to write - necessity breeds creativity.
“Heart's Moors” is a work of quiet activism that was inspired by the role love has played in his life. Where hate has been rampant, love has graced the scene and shone through.
“For Better Waters” depicts the journey of a soul from its inception through self love and into the act of sharing itself in love.
If you enjoy seeing love vanquish all obstacles, For Better Waters is the book for you.
About the Author:
Poet Mitchel Brock’s love for the English language blossomed when his parents would read to his brother and him before bed, where he would beg for “just one more chapter!” He stumbled into poetry after starting a (failed) blog. Gaining no traction, but enjoying the intricacies of the writing process, he began to explore the wondrous nuances of poetry. For Better Waters is Brock’s first published work. He lives in Suamico, Wisconsin with his beloved family and dogs.
