Echoes of the Ozarks follows Wayne and Marie Webber as they drive toward their old hometown of Gordon Hollow in the Ozark Mountains. After a long leisurely trip of seeing all the beauty that the United States has to offer, they are comforted to know their home is the best beauty of all. But the ravaged and abandoned homes around Gordon Hollow provide obvious evidence that some disaster had befallen the town.

Go back to the Dust Bowl era, a simpler time, when Wayne and Marie started their lives together as farmers. Their story begins as conditions around them worsen, affecting their crops and livelihood. Forced to find work elsewhere, the family moves out West, leaving behind a peace, a happiness, and a serenity that they had found nowhere else.
