About the Author

Anne K Borduin's mom didn't know when she bought Anne two ceramic ducks soon after she was married that her Mom would start a love affair of ducks for Anne. Ever since, Anne has been collecting ducks of all styles, shapes and materials. When Anne found out she was going to be a grandma for the first time, the first thing she bought was a duck blankie cuddler which Anne put in her granddaughter's cradle the moment she came home. Needless to say, Anne's granddaughter loves ducks and has even had real ducks as pets. So, it is no surprise that the first thing Anne thought of when formulating a book in her mind was DUCKS! 

In Business school, Anne excelled in grammar and composition and to this day enjoys writing and word games. Prior to her retirement, Anne was an administrative assistant in the Guidance Office of a local private high school, where she could put her skills to good use. On a personal level, when Anne writes out greeting cards, she never just signs her name. Anne always writes something very personal from her heart to the person getting the card. Her children always kid Anne and say she should have worked for a greeting card company, since she also loves to write poems. Anne is married and has two grown, married children and three grandchildren whom she loves and adores! When she retired she finally decided to take the time to sit down and write this book, an idea that Anne had toyed with for many years. It also helps that she now has time to travel, which is something she and her husband love to do. Perhaps the future will find Dudley off visiting other far-away places!
