About the Author
Betty Haggard is a multi-talented individual with a diverse professional and creative background. A graduate of Olympic College with a degree in Business Administration from 1950, she later attended cosmetology school at age fifty-five and worked in the beauty industry for several years. Her career history is extensive, including working for NATO at the Pentagon in 1953 and running a twenty-table craft show at a military hotel in Waikiki, Hawaii, for over three years in the 1970s. Outside of writing, Haggard spent sixteen years involved with the Elk's Ballroom Dance Club and enjoys painting scenery. Originally from Pecos, Texas, she now resides in Bremerton, Washington.
