Creative Development Of Self (CDS): An Intervention For Healthy Self And Healthy Relationships
Creative Development of Self (CDS): An Intervention for Healthy Self and Healthy Relationships is a workbook designed for facilitating group sessions with clients who have exhibited abusive behavior toward others. The authors advocate a multi-dimensional approach to treating individuals with attachment issues, self-pleasing defenses, cognitive distortions, and unresolved development crises. Through this outline of sixteen sessions, the use of clinical drawings is intended to facilitate the discovery of self and of healthy communication. Creative Development of Self (CDS): An Introduction for Healthy Self and Healthy Relationships is designed to provide flexible resources for the therapist and to assist in the facilitation of the group process.
