Have you ever wondered: Why bad things happen to good people? Are miracles really possible? How there can be any truth to spiritual pursuits when religions say such contradictory things? Is there any way an ordinary person living an ordinary life could become enlightened or liberated or saved? Do soul mates really exist and how you can find one?

If so, then Conversations with Jesus Concerning Awakening just might be the book you’ve been looking for! Accessible, thoughtful and full of personal detail, Carolyn Godschild Miller’s Conversations will engage, teach and inspire you.

About the Author

While earning her doctorate in Experimental Psychology, Carolyn Miller won a two-year Research Support Fellowship from N.I.M.H. She became a licensed Clinical Psychologist in California in 1984, conducted a Women’s Program for hospitalized mental patients and taught Psychology at both the graduate and undergraduate levels for more than twenty years.

Dr. Miller has been a student of A Course in Miracles for over 35 years. She was personally initiated into Siddha Yoga by an enlightened teacher of that path and given the spiritual name “Godschild” by Jesus. Along with her late husband, Arnold Weiss, Ph.D., Dr. Miller established the Foundation and Institute for the Study of A Course in Miracles, a West Los Angeles nonprofit religious educational organization that, since 1992, has offered low-cost psychotherapy of the type advocated by Jesus in the Psychotherapy Pamphlet that accompanies ACIM. It also offers study groups in A Course in Miracles, pastoral counseling and individual enlightenment training.

In addition to her Psychology papers and publications, Dr. Miller has published two books on miracles, one on soul mate relationships, and co-authored a test of sense of humor. Her previous books have been generously endorsed by Dr. Bernie Siegel, Dr. Willis Harmon, and Marianne Williamson.
