From his earliest beginnings Joe’s life has centered around the politics and confrontations of inner-city Chicago. From riding around the local deliveryman’s truck as a kid earning a few bucks to his adult life centering around selling drugs to all walks of life, Joe had to learn at a young age to hustle for what he wants.

Chicago Stories is a series of short stories from Joe’s life, scattered and varied as his experiences. From gang fights to a simple fishing trip, enwrapped in a drug-induced frenzy as a young adult to owning a home with his beloved, threatening dog. A life as whimsical as it is tragic, all beginning and ending in Chicago.

M. Benson (bob) lives by the beach in San Francisco. He has earned multiple graduate degrees and spends his days taking daily walks and tinkering. He is a father of two and a grandfather to two grandchildren.
