About the Author

Hobart Pardue lives in Springfield, Louisiana where he has practiced law since 1966. He was instrumental in helping Black and White citizens obtain voting rights in Southeast Louisiana in the early 1960's during the civil rights era. He has represented mistreated people, fished and hunted for big game, birds, and waterfowl on two continents from Alaska to Patagonia in Argentina. This is his story.
