Aphorisms on Life includes over two hundred short writings— thoughts, poetry, humor, philosophy, religion, and satire—depicting the major issues of the journey called life, as seen through the eyes of the author from childhood through adulthood. The theme is at times dark, dreary, bleak, and negative, and Steven Miserez hopes the reader takes away a sense of shock, as well as some laughter, from his aphorisms.
