A class at an agricultural college is a hotbed of romantic intrigue, but one young woman vehemently refuses all approaches. I can do as good as any man, she says. I just want to be left alone. Her professor even wonders if shes a lesbian. But she has a different and an excellent reason for rebuffing her suitors. Both she and the reader have some surprises coming, too.
