A young woman named Loubna is filled with conflict and despair over the recent loss of her father. Her country has been stricken with an ongoing war that is seemingly endless. She is a postgraduate student who studies English. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and playing sports. She has two children: Houda and Djawed. She uses her writing as an outlet for her feelings of frustration over injustices in the world and hopes that through this story, others will come to understand the conflicting feelings war creates in people.
