About the Book

The Fates spin their threads blindly, and humans are caught up in them regardless of their desires. This gripping tale recounts the entanglement of the fates of two men and the women who loved them both. Young Jack Nelson seemed to have it all, a burning ambition, a beautiful wife, and a bright future. Harry Welks, in contrast, had a dreary life, a slut of a wife, and no prospects of escape. Yet fate set such twists and turns in the paths of their lives as to destroy the one, and to reward the other. The action here is intense and furious, taking us from the jungles of Vietnam to the frozen fields of Canada, from the exotic alleys of Saigon to the quiet streets of Dayton. Through it all, these men are caught up in an epic struggle, but do what they must to follow their destinies.
