In the series A Day in the Life of Lily, the first book is titled Lily’s 4th Birthday Party. Lily is a three-year-old girl who is about to turn four. She is so excited to become a big girl and have a party with her family and friends. Once the big day arrives, things don’t go as well as Lily had hoped. She and her best friend get into an argument and have to decide they should make up or stop being friends. This story teaches lessons of friendship, jealousy, and conflict resolution. 

About the Author

Wendy J. Drontle was born in Canton, Illinois, where she lived until she was ten years old. She moved to Minnesota with her mother and younger brother in 1985 and still resides there today. She is married with two grown children of her own and one grown stepchild. She and her husband have three grandchildren, Lily (eight), Kairi (four), and Tevani (one). Wendy always dreamed of being a published author and is now making her dream come true.
