8 Keys to Great Skin: A Consumers Guide to Medical Aesthetics
The desire to look beautiful is as old as mankind. From the days of Cleopatra to the modern-day supermodel, human beings have always spent considerable time and resources on ways to look better. The bottom line is that, often, the way we feel is closely tied to the way we see ourselves. The average consumer who wants to look and feel younger and healthier is faced with so many options for skincare, including nonsurgical treatments such as Botox, fillers, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels. As the technology has advanced and the cost has decreased, our society has become more accepting of these procedures.
Ife Ojugbeli seeks to educate his patients about the options available to combat the signs of skin aging and damage and change any preconceived notions about the discomforts of nonsurgical treatments. His book, 8 Keys to Great Skin: A Consumers Guide to Medical Aesthetics, describes the anatomy of the skin, the factors that negatively affect skin health, and the treatments and procedures that can help you remain attractive at any age.
