About the Author

Elise Fare has a BFA in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She worked for 16 years with the US Army as WAC, as an illustrator with TRADOC, and as an arts specialist with the Arts and Crafts Centers.

Fare is a retired CEX Librarian 1 with the Jacksonville Public Library where "we all serve youth." She quilts with the First Coast Quilters Guild and has had two of her quilts published by two different authors, winning many ribbons.

Fare has two sons, one of whom has given her three beautiful granddaughters.

'Just Me' is just Darling

Adorable and refreshing! Any child could identify with the point of the story & would feel important and gleeful about themselves, reading this creative gem! Easy to handle for a child's small hands or just right for parents to share with their little ones! Very sweet illustrations, too! We love 'Just Me'!

Awesome book

I love this children's book! I’m a former children’s librarian and I know that “guessing” books are a big hit with young children. Children love when they can make connections between what’s being read from a book and their existing knowledge. This book can be read aloud to a large group of children or to just one child and you’ll get the same enthusiastic reaction. If you’re looking for an engaging book to read with young children I recommend Elise Fare’s Just Me book.
