Interesting story and characters however the consistent grammar/spelling errors detracted from the reading experience. Also, the development and progression of the romance between the two main characters left much to be desired. The author has talent but clearly needs more time and practice to hone his writing skills.

I was hooked the whole time. It was really fun learning about the different houses and their dragons. Every single character was explored and had great arcs. Can’t wait for the second book to release cause the mechanicus were awesome!

Lots of detailed explanation, great characters and development, and plot twists that always keep you guessing. Excited to continue the series!

“The Valley of Dragons” by DeChamplain is an amazing fantasy book full of action and emotional events. The thing that I loved the most was how deep and profound each character is forged. They have more to them than it seems. One character I liked especially was the father of Septimus who encourages him to do things for others and puts emphasis on his unconditional love for his son. I appreciate it a lot when elements like these are incorporated into fantasy books because it connects important parts life with an entertaining plot. This is definitely a recommendable book. I enjoyed reading every line and finished it in no time even though it’s not a tiny book.

One of those lowkey books you don’t except to be good. Must say it’s easily one of the best books I’ve ever read. I won’t spoil anything, but give this book a chance.
